A "third party website" is defined as a website not owned by Grand Margherita Hotel, that sells Grand Margherita Hotel rooms inventory directly to consumers, and that provides a confirmation of a completed reservation at the moment of completion of that reservation. Sites that do not reveal the hotel brand name until after the payment has been completed (including bidding sites) do not qualify for this Guarantee. A "stay" is defined as one night or consecutive nights at the same hotel location, regardless of frequency of check-in/check-out."
Employees of Grand Margherita Hotel and affiliates are not eligible for Best Price Guarantee.

Best Price Guarantee
If you find a lower room price for a one-night stay, or a lower average nightly room price for a multi-night stay, on a third party website within 24 hours after booking on grandmargherita.com for the same stay, your first night's room at Grand Margherita Hotel is free. In addition to that, we will match the lower average nightly price found for your entire stay for the rest of the nights of your stay after verification of the lower average nightly price.
Making a Claim
Contact us using the online claim form or by contacting Best Price Guarantee Support within twenty-four (24) hours after booking on grandmargherita.com to make a claim under Best Price Guarantee. The average nightly lower room rate must be available for booking at the time of claim verification and must be lower than that found on grandmargherita.com, as determined by our customer service representatives.
Best Price Guarantee is available only for the exact same room type. For example, if you book a 'Non-Smoking Superior King Bed with Breakfast for Two Adults' on www.grandmargherita.com you must find the price for a 'Non-Smoking Superior King Bed with Breakfast for Two Adults' on the third party website to compare.
All price or rate terms, including, but not limited to pre-payment, deposit or other requirements must be equal to or more restrictive than the terms found on grandmargherita.com to be used for comparison. For example, when you book a room that may be cancelled without penalty on grandmargherita.com, you may not compare it to a room with a pre-paid or non-refundable price on a third party website. If, however, you book a pre-paid or non-refundable rate on grandmargherita.com, you may compare it to a cancellable or refundable rate on a third party website. The Best Price Guarantee is not available for bookings on websites where the booking details are unknown until after purchase.
For multi-night stays, the average nightly room price found on another website will be compared to the average nightly room price for your multi-night reservation on the grandmargherita.com. The room price on a third party website must be available in the currency of the hotel. The average nightly rate must be least US $1 (or the equivalent in the hotel's currency) lower than that found on grandmargherita.com except if the rates that are being compared are in two different currencies, in which case the difference in rates must be at least USD$5.00.
For claims involving different currencies, the exchange rate supplied by Oanda (http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/) will be used to evaluate the case. Discrepancies must be at least USD$5.00 for the guarantee to be valid
Any taxes, tariffs or fees imposed by a governmental authority (e.g., federal, state or local) will not be considered as part of the Best Price Guarantee claim. The room price must be quoted, booked, and paid for in the currency of the hotel. The Guarantee does not include extra fees such as extra person charges. Regardless of the number of lower prices found, only one free night will be awarded per stay. For valid claims, each additional night’s room price during the stay will be lowered to match the average nightly price for the entire stay found on other websites.
Comparison Prices Must Be Available to the General Public Online
The Best Price Guarantee applies only to prices both advertised and available to the general public on other website at the time of verification. In detail, this does not include rates offered on membership program websites; corporate discounts; negotiated rates; group, rewards program, incentive, meeting, convention, consolidator or interline prices; prices obtained via auction or similar process; or prices available only by using a coupon or other promotion not offered to the general public. The average nightly lower rate may not come from a website where you call to get the rate, or from an e-mail that you received.
Room prices that include food or beverage items such as breakfast or dinner, entertainment items such as tickets to a show, and/or free local calls, parking or other bundled items will be considered as packages. These packages or inclusive rates must be compared to prices with the same type of inclusive items.
Free Night Restrictions
In the event of a valid claim, the award of a free night is limited to one free night per the name on the reservation. In addition, in the event of a valid claim, reservations are non-transferable after the claim is found to be valid, and the name on the reservation must remain the same as when the claim is verified. Valid government issued ID is required upon check-in that matches the name found on the reservation.
Verification of Claims
All claims are subject to verification by Grand Margherita Hotel. Grand Margherita Hotel must be able to verify the lower price (and, for multi-night stays, the average lower price) found on a third party website at the time the claim is processed and verify that the price at the time of verification is lower than that found on grandmargherita.com.
Grand Margherita Hotel reserves the right to modify, restrict availability, or discontinue the Best Price Guarantee, at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice or liability to you. The Grand Margherita Hotel Best Price Guarantee Terms and Conditions that are in effect at the time of your booking will determine your eligibility under the Best Price Guarantee. Grand Margherita Hotel reserves the right to cancel a previously awarded free night and to cancel the lower rates for the rest of the nights of a multi-night reservation if it is found that a customer has knowingly violated or circumvented the Best Price Guarantee Terms & Conditions.

If you answered Yes to all the above, you may have a valid Best Price Guarantee claim. We encourage you to review the full Terms & Conditions before filing your claim to make sure it is valid.
To use the Best Price Guarantee, you must notify us within 24 hours of making your reservation on grandmargherita.com by filling out the online form or calling Best Price Guarantee Support.
Example of a resolution to a valid Best Price Guarantee claim:
A guest books a two night stay at the lowest available price through the Best Available Rate search for Grand Margherita Hotel on grandmargherita.com for a price of RM200.00.
Within 24 hours, that same guest finds a price of RM190.00 on a third party website for the same hotel, same night, with the same rate restrictions (refundable or non-refundable) and same room type (same number and type of bed(s).
The guest contacts Grand Margherita Hotel to claim the Best Price Guarantee either by phone or by filling out the online form.
Once the Customer Relations team confirms that the Best Price Guarantee claim filed is valid, they will modify the guest’s reservation with the first night free and the second night at RM190.00.

When you search for a room on grandmargherita.com and specify “Best Available” as your price preference, you will be presented with a variety of price types (e.g. Best Flexible, Advance Purchase). These are the best hotel room prices available currently that meet your search criteria.
Did you choose the lowest price from the Best Available Rate search results for your reservation?
A guest must book the lowest available hotel room price through the Best Available price search - for the type of accommodations sought - in order to qualify for the Best Price Guarantee.
Did you find a lower price on a “third party website” within 24 hours of your reservation?
A third party website is a website that sells a hotel room from the Grand Margherita Hotel. It is not another hotel brand website. Rooms on the competing website must be publicly available, viewable and bookable on the Internet at the time of verification.
Is that lower price for the same type of accommodations?
Same type of accommodations includes the same hotel, the same type of room(s), same dates and length of stay, and same number of guests.
